Admission Procedure
CONDITION AND PROCEDURE OF ADMISSION.
54. Applications for admission to 1st year MBBS
and 1st year BDS courses shall be invited by the
Principal, Bolan Medical College, Quetta through
an advertisement in leading newspapers, Radio
and / or Television etc. No notice etc. shall
be issued individually to the candidates for inviting
applications, communication of results of the
interviews or any other instructions to the candidates.
Publication of any other instructions through
the Press Release in the Local Newspapers, Radio
or Television shall be considered sufficient.
55. The applications are required to be submitted
on or before the last date specified in the advertisement.
The applications received after the last date
will not be entertained and no excuse of any kind
will be acceptable.
56. The selection of candidates for admission
to 1st year MBBS and BDS class shall be made by
the Selection Committee strictly according to
conditions laid down in the Prospectus.
57. Applications must carry photo copies of the
following documents duly attested by a Gazzated
Officer. All the columns of the prescribed application
form must be filled correctly. Incomplete application
forms are liable to be rejected

thereon. |

An affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper
duly attested by a 1st Class Magistrate to
the effect that the candidate or his/her father
/ mother (as the case may be) is in possession
of only one Local/Domicile Certificate. In
case the candidate or his / her father / mother
(as the case may be) had ever been in possession
of two Local/ Domicile certificates, it should
be mentioned therein that one of the Local/Domicile
Certificates had been cancelled before the
date of application for admission. In case
the candidate fails to mention or submit the
affidavit, he/ she shall not be considered
for admission. |

INTERVIEW AND SELECTION.
58. The selection of candidates
for admission to 1st year MBBS/BDS courses shall
be made by the Selection Committee consisting
of the following members:
1. Chairman
Balochistan Public Service Chairman.
Commission, Quetta.
2. Secretary, Member.
Government of Balochistan,
Health Department, Quetta
3. Secretary, Member.
Government of Balochistan,
Law Department, Quetta
4. Secretary, Member.
Government of Balochistan,
Education Department, Quetta
5. Principal, Member cum
Secretary
Bolan Medical College,
Quetta.
6. Deputy Commissioner
of the concerned Member.
District/Agency
59. Due to exigencies of service a member may
nominate his representative not below the rank
of additional secretary to attend selection committee
meeting on his behalf in writing. It shall be
the responsibility of member –cum-secretary
(Principal BMC Quetta) to ensure that all members
and candidates are informed about time and place
of selection committee meeting.
60. The meetings of the Selection Committee shall
be held at where ever convenient to the Selection
Committee, to interview the candidates.
61. The physical presence of the candidate is
must/compulsory at the place, date and time of
interview.
62. The quorum of the meetings of the Selection
Committee shall be Three (3). The meeting of the
Committee shall be presided over by the Chairman
and in his absence by the Secretary Government
of Balochistan Health Department.
63. The right of dissent vote in the event of
difference of the opinion shall be exercised only
by the members of the Selection Committee.
64. The decision of the Selection Committee shall
be submitted to the Government for the final approval,
which shall include the dissenting note, if any,
made by any member or Chairman of the Committee.
65. No provisional admission shall be granted
to any candidate.
66. No candidate shall be given admission if he/she
has not been recommended by the Selection Committee.
67. The Principal BMC, Member-cum-Secretary will
submit list of selected candidates to Secretary
Health Department for final approval of the competent
authority.
68. The candidate seeking admission to Bolan
Medical College shall have to produce before the
selection committee a Local/ Domicile certificate
issued by the concerned authorities / District
Administrative officer of the respective district.
69. The Selection Committee shall have the right
to verify any documents etc submitted by the candidates
through any department concerned to satisfy the
genuineness of the matter prior to finalization
of its recommendations.
